Join us in La Salle a quiet country setting 10 to 15 minute walk to the bastite village of St. Puy. This area has be called the “ Le petit Toscane” with its tiny hilltop villages perched above rolling fields of sunflowers and vineyards. Beyond painting, there will be exposure to regional wines, antiquing and visits to local villages & markets. There is also a visit to the breathtaking local garden “Les Jardin de Coursiana” in La Romieu, listed as UNESCO site. An exceptional visit to the Cistercian Abbeye de Flaran which holds the permanent collection of art by well know 20th century artists, such as Monet, Renoir, Rodin, Modigliani, Cezanne, Picasso & Toulouse-Lautrec. Our meals will be prepared with local produce and food products from the region. This area is famous for Armanagnac and heart country food. Guests will also have an opportunity to sit by the pool and even take a swim if the weather permits.
Participants will spend 7 days in a restored country home that is situated one hour drive from the Toulose Airport.
I am excited to partner with Holly Ann Friesen. Holly is a Canadian landscape artist whose work has been featured in galleries all across Canada.
